Guest Policy for Residence Halls

To maintain a secure and focused living environment, Summer Programs students are expected to adhere to the following guest policies:

Students under 18 years of age are strictly prohibited from hosting guests in their assigned residence hall rooms. The only individuals permitted in these rooms are those who have been officially assigned to that space by the Summer Programs Student Life team.

Students living in residence halls designed for adults—generally those 18 years of age or older—are welcome to have up to two guests in their room at a time, but only between 7:00 a.m. and 10:30 p.m. Guests are not permitted outside of these hours.

In addition, students are not allowed to enter any residence hall room other than their own. Breaching this policy could result in disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal.

For social interactions, students are welcome to make use of designated common areas such as lobbies and lounges, where they can gather in a setting that ensures the security and comfort of all residents.
